Ecuador started 2023 with a series of tax incentives for production companies and platforms to produce in that country. Ana Cecilia Alvarado, president of Ecuavisa Studios, has been one of the main mentors of this initiative under the slogan: Take Ecuador. The announcement was made during Content Americas in the company of Ana Piñeres, COO, and Clara María Ochoa, CEO, both executive and creative producers of CMO Producciones, as well as Arturo Yépez, CEO of 2bLatam, Ecuadorian producer of the enchufe.tv channel, a Spanish-language comedy channel that has become one of the most watched in the world.
